Candace Huleis was one of few residents permitted to leave home after the botched bank Robbery at the corner of Kitteridge and Laurel Canyon earlier in the day. During a manhunt that followed, police allowed her to leave with her two-week-old son, Christian, because of his 100-degree fever.
