Gene Roberts and Hank Klibanoff

Gene Roberts is a journalism professor at the University of Maryland, College Park.

He was a reporter at various Southern newspapers and Southern correspondent and national editor for The New York Times before becoming executive editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer, where his staff won 17 Pulitzer Prizes. He later became managing editor of The New York Times.

He lives in New York City.

 


 

A native of Alabama, Hank Klibanoff is the managing editor of news at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He was a reporter for six years in Mississippi and for three at The Boston Globe before holding various reporting and editing jobs during his 20 years at The Philadelphia Inquirer.

He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
