The 2025 Music competition is now accepting submissions. All entry materials must be uploaded to the Books, Drama and Music entry site, where the required entry form and $75 handling fee must also be remitted.

Works that receive their U.S. premiere between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 are eligible. As always, either a public performance or the public release of a recording may constitute a premiere.

Full details on the eligibility rules for the 2025 Prize cycle are available on the Music guidelines page.

The eligibility deadline for entries is December 31, 2024. All entries must be submitted by 5:30 p.m. Eastern time on January 3, 2025. Works that open on or after January 1, 2025 must be submitted in the 2026 cycle.
