Entrants may now submit eligible work that opened this year in the Drama category. The Music portal will open in August.
Reporting to the Pulitzer Administrator and Deputy Administrator, the Events and Outreach Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of outside public events sponsored by the organization and held off-site and online.
The final deadline for eligible books (published between January 1 and December 31, 2023) is October 13.
“Technological innovations have made it easier to manipulate photographs and Pulitzer wants to ensure that we are honoring original work that has not been significantly altered,” said Marjorie Miller, administrator of the Prizes. “These changes reflect the best practices of photojournalism today, and are consistent with those of other journalism contests.”
Columbia University today announced the 2023 Pulitzer Prizes, awarded on the recommendation of the Pulitzer Prize Board.
The only person who served as co-chair of the Pulitzer Prize Board and as administrator of the awards, Pride died on April 24 from complications of a blood disorder. He was 76.
The entry portals will close at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on January 5, 2023. The deadline for eligibility remains December 31, 2022.
